Biodegradable and certified compostable biopolymer
The overview:
Is a versatile and high-quality bioplastic. The main advantages: It is certified and compostable.
The main areas of use for RENFRAW® are plastic films such as organic waste bags, fruit and vegetable bags, carrier bags or mulch films. Also, compostable packaging solutions such as paper-coating, shrink and cling films as well as injection molding and thermoformed products can be produced with RENFRAW®
Biopolymers are a growing industry, and one of the most promising is compostable resins. These resins are produced from renewable resources and can be used to make things like plastic bags or food containers. The most important thing about compostable resins is that they can be used in injection molding machines.
But what makes this type of biopolymer so great? Well firstly, it's made from renewable resources. Secondly, it has low carbon footprint compared to traditional plastics because it doesn't take as much energy to make it—even if you consider using an electric oven instead of gas stovetop! And finally, it's safe for use with food products because it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals like BPA (bisphenol A).
